Stripboard...let me show you it...![]() Anyone who has ever used perfboard knows that building projects on perfboard can become a wiring nightmare pretty quickly (ahhh, I kinda miss the days of wire-wrap on occasion) Well, enter "stripboard". It's been around for a while, especially in Europe, but has been somewhat slow to catch on in the US (you will also see it called Veroboard sometimes). I decided to post about it today because it's now easier to find here, and its popularity really seems to be taking off. There is even software now to convert electronic schematics to stripboard layouts...with auto-routing! (don't worry if you don't know what autorouting is yet, or why this is so cool) Having this kind of software is a great way for people to post and exchange stripboard designs that are clearly drawn and easy to understand. I haven't tried any of these programs yet however, but am about to. I will post some info about them as soon as I have.
